The 25th edition of ISSA Pulire, the international trade show dedicated to cleaning, sanitisation and integrated services, has managed to buck the Covid trend by actually taking place, with representatives of ISSA and Afidamp hosting almost 300 exhibitors at Veronafiere.
The organisers tell us there is an atmosphere of trust among the exhibitors for the return of in-person events after more than a year and a half of absence from the fairs and that ISSA Pulire is, in fact, the first show in the professional cleaning and sanitising sector to be celebrated in its original form since the beginning of the pandemic.
Jangro, the UK & Ireland's largest network of independent janitorial and cleaning distributors, has enhanced its award-winning digital wall chart tool with a multi-room function. Users of Jangro's innovative digital wall chart creator can now create bespoke plans for whole buildings, thanks to an exciting new update to the online tool.
As well as individual rooms, there is a new option to generate tailored colour-coded wall charts for multiple spaces within a facility. The online system now includes bedrooms, boardrooms, canteen/staff rooms, classrooms, gymnasiums, hospitality areas, kitchens, offices, receptions, and washrooms, enabling customers to build bespoke cleaning and hygiene guides for whole buildings.

While restrictions have now lifted, almost three quarters (73%) of Brits are still worried about visiting shops and cafés where there are no Covid-19 measures in place, new research from Mitie has revealed.
More than half (53%) went as far as to say they will only go into shops which have visible anti Covid measures.

Certol International has announced that MicroCare, located in New Britain, CT, the US, completed the sale of Certol in partnership with the company's co-founders and senior management in June. Cleaning and security company Aston Services Group (ASG) has decided to take on the Hadrian's Wall Walk Challenge and raise funds for two charities The Alzheimer's Society and Guide Dogs for the Blind.
The walk, usually taking from seven to 10 days to complete, will start from Bowness on Solway across the top of England to Wallsend on the East Coast. Covering 84 miles of ancient British history, it follows in the footsteps of the Romans who built this magnificent fortification almost 2,000 years ago.
