Building H3 in the West Gate Business District, fully occupied by Ericsson, earned the Immune - Resilient label, becoming the world's first building to achieve the highest certification level of the Immune Building Standard.
The Immune Building Standard, through the Healthy by Design Building Institute (HDBI) in Brussels, is an evidence based, third-party certified rating for the built environment, focusing on providing building operators with the tools and strategy to monitor, communicate and adjust the health of the indoor physical space, with an efficient response protocol in case of viral, bacteriological, or toxicological events.
DuPont Personal Protection, RecoveryPro and Belfor Group teamed up to conduct a deep cleaning aboard the Diamond Princess cruise ship following an outbreak of Covid-19 among its passengers and crew in February 2020.
The collaboration among the companies, along with protocol guidance established by global health & safety organisations, resulted in an effective clean and disinfect solution enabling the ship to be deemed safe to sail.
SoftBank Robotics EMEA has signed a strategic partnership with NextFMRobotics, a sister company of Kenter gmbh, the renowned provider of cleaning solutions, equipment and products in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Under the agreement, Kenter will now offer the Whiz industrial cobotic vacuum sweeper through its new NextFMRobotics brand, to its facility management and cleaning contractor clients.

Both the new plum & mulberry scented hand wash and the geranium & grapefruit hand wash have been created following feedback from Bio-D's market research that showed customers wanted to see more zesty and fruity fragrances. Vancouver, Canada-based Delta-Q Technologies has introduced a new line of battery charging solutions with the launch of the XV3300. Its design combines a high-performance 3.3KW charger, a 500W DC-DC converter, and an EV charging station interface in a highly compact package.

Businesses in are being urged not to miss out on a new temporary tax relief initiative by the UK Government, which allows them to claim back 130% of the cost of waste equipment such as balers and compactors.
The new capital allowance for new plant equipment and machinery runs from 1st April 2021 to 31st March 2023 offering the 'super deduction', compared to the usual 18%, to businesses paying corporation tax. The initiative aims to encourage UK businesses to invest in equipment that improves production and waste management, as well as reducing costs and their impact on the environment.
