Cleanzine - the original Cleaning & Hygiene industry e-news

Read by industry professionals in 148 countries worldwide!

British sportspeople have not been renowned for their ability to come first for some time, but here we are rivalling the very best on the London 2012 medals table! Many put some of this success down to inspiration from the very vocal and visual support of the home crowd and I have to agree.

Results of a study carried out by a Canadian manufacturer of cleaning products (see the full results below) has shown that those who are passionate about the training courses they're on, go on to increase sales by 45% over the following 12 months, while some even increase sales by a massive 275%!

It occurs to me that if employers can find ways to inspire their workforces and employees can do their bit in inspiring their colleagues, this will go some way to repairing the damage to the global economy and help lift us out of the doldrums.

We have nothing to lose by trying, have we...

Yours,

Don't waste money on flying ants warns pest control company

This is the time of year when pest control companies' telephones are red hot with people ringing up about giant ants with wings erupting from the ground and then getting on to clothing, getting stuck in hair and covering walls.

The problem normally disappears on its own within a few hours and there is very little a pest control company can do apart from charge a lot of money.
