Idrobase goes Nordic!
Italian cleaning systems expert Idrobase Group is expanding in the Nordic region.
Thanks to its partnership with the Novara-based company Sibilia, within the Safebreath.net business network, Idrobase Nordic has emerged to join similar companies already operating in France, Spain, Korea and China.
This time, the three Scandinavian countries (Denmark, Sweden, Norway) plus Finland, are involved.
The goal, says Idrobase, is to achieve a turnover of two million euros within three years.
Fresh from the Ecomondo exhibition in Rimini after the shows in Amsterdam and Lyon, Idrobase Group started what it says is a profound transformation in the company structure - while keeping human capital at the centre – following a fire last year that destroyed one of its warehouses at its headquarters in Borgoricco, near Padua (www.thecleanzine.com).
"The image is that of a four-legged table: building, team, products and organisation,” says Bruno Ferrarese, co-owner of the company. “We have already invested in the first three assets, now it's time for the production chain."
Thus, the company is further improving performance by applying the ‘Lean’ model to maximise production efficiency, which at capacity will free up the workforce needed to activate a new internal production line.
Bruno Gazzignato, the company’s other co-owner, says: "Combining innovation and automation with safeguarding and developing 
employment - this is our challenge. In line with our company philosophy, we want to further demonstrate how better working conditions allow greater competitiveness, as well as the wellbeing of those who work there."
"Last year's fire led us to build a new Idrobase based on the team's values, exalted precisely in the moment of maximum difficulty. We have thus created corporate environments, free of pollutants, where one can express oneself in maximum comfort, inventing new working methods, based on project aggregation.
“We already had the product offering, thanks to a catalogue of hundreds of references, constantly evolving and updating. Now we have to put all the pieces into place, seeking maximum efficiency."
