Cold Jet launches enhanced Aero Series of dry ice blast cleaning machines

* dry-ice-machines.jpgCold Jet has launched an enhanced product portfolio of dry ice blast cleaning machines designed to guarantee the best pellet integrity, maximum cleaning aggression and the most reliable blast stream on the market.

"The rugged Aero Series has always delivered superior performance and versatility with the lowest cost of ownership," says Christian Rogiers, vice president of marketing with Cold Jet. "Now further enhanced to meet the customer's need and budget, Cold Jet has streamlined the Aero Series to three levels of functionality: the Aero, Aero 40FP and Aero 80FP (FP = full range of pressure)."

The Aero is the base machine and offers reliable performance in an industrial design. A compact, single-hose dry ice cleaning system, the Aero utilises Cold Jet's patented SureFlow system with isolated, insulated hopper that reduces sublimation; hopper agitation that prevents clogging; radial feeder to provide smooth cleaning performance; and aerodynamic fittings to minimise air requirements.

In addition to the standard benefits, the mid-level Aero 40FP and top-of-the-line Aero 80FP systems offer full range of pressure (FP); increased feed rates; compatibility with larger blast hoses and more innovative applicators; advanced SureFlow agitation systems with thumper, ramrod and vibrators; and feature an innovative Advanced Radial Feeding System.

"We have improved upon our already industry-leading feeding technology with the Advanced Radial Feeding System included in the Aero 40FP and Aero 80FP," explains Christian. "This new system enables aerodynamic loading to reduce wear, thus extending machine life; utilises a compact motor that reduces weight and lowers power consumption; includes an enhanced rotor that provides pulse-free blasting and precision feed rate control; and has an onboard pressure regulator."

Additional highlights of the Aero Series include: reliable pellet flow; minimised sublimation; minimal air/ice usage; easy maintenance; safe operation; rugged mobility; full range of pressure (Aero 40FP and Aero 80FP only); tilt-out hopper and deluxe accessory package (Aero 80FP only); and what are said to be the most advanced nozzles available in the market. Differentiated by technology, performance and size, each of the systems can be customised with accessories that will provide the best clean for the customer's specific environment and application.

The Aero Series accompanies the i3 MicroClean and SDI Select 60, an established line of machines that feature Cold Jet's patented shaved dry ice MicroParticle technology.

Cold Jet dry ice cleaning systems are used in a variety of industries and applications, making productive use of recycled carbon dioxide while eliminating the need for chemicals and water in the cleaning process.
With nearly 30 years of experience, Cold Jet is a world leader in developing innovative, environmentally responsible cleaning solutions that help companies reduce maintenance costs, enhance product quality, prolong equipment life and improve productivity and worker safety. Its global headquarters are in Ohio and its international operations are in Europe, Asia, Canada and Mexico.
