One young woman's determination leads to 20 years' success
Futures Supplies & Support Services celebrates its 20th anniversary in the cleaning industry this year.
"Twenty years marks a significant milestone for Futures Supplies," says Mandie Kemp, founder and chief executive of Futures Supplies. "We began as a small business working from home with a garage full of toilet rolls and cleaning supplies delivering door to door. We have now grown to become an award winning company with a turnover in excess of £3.5 million.
"Working with customers in London and on a national basis we are honoured to be able to celebrate this occasion with many of the people who have shared our journey and contributed to make the company the success it is today."
Futures Supplies was set up in 1995 by entrepreneur Mandie Kemp and in the last two decades, Mandie has established the company as a pioneer, innovator and leader within the cleaning industry. The company is now well established and respected and is recognised as a major player in distributing washroom, cleaning, janitorial and associated products. It is proactive in its approach to the environment and is committed to Corporate Social Responsibility, always seeking ways to put something back into the local community, whilst delivering exceptional value and customer service excellence.
The award winning business has worked hard to manage and deliver exceptional business partnerships with its customers and suppliers which has made it stand out from its competitors. It still supplies its very first customer, David McLeod, managing director of Cresswell Office Services who says: "I am delighted for Mandie and the highly trained and motivated team at Futures Supplies. Congratulations to them all on this fantastic achievement which has been accomplished through pure dedication and recognising the need to be a forward thinking company in a competitive market place.

Mandie, as a highly driven and motivated business leader, has been responsible for the company's growth and continued expansion. In 2006, she was named 'Surrey Business Person of the Year' at the Surrey Business Awards and has since led the company to win a host of numerous other accolades, including The South London Business Customer Service Award, the Green Apple Award and the Best Commitment to CSR Award.
Futures Supplies was one of the first companies in the industry to offer an online shopping website, to become Carbon Neutral and have an electric van on its fleet. With the company's continued inward investment it now has its own premises in South London and a large fleet of vehicles, with a young vibrant team headed up by managing director, Marc Kemp who leads the company as it continues its expansion and begins its journey into the next 20 years.
