TCFM awarded further distribution centre contracts

* TCFM.jpgTC Facilities Management has been awarded the cleaning contract at a new build distribution centre in Daventry, following a rigorous tender process, TCFM is providing all area cleaning at this 980,000sq.ft general merchandise facility, located in the heartland of the distribution centre world. The company is also celebrating other contract wins.

Leading TCFM’s distribution centre sales growth, business development manager Mark Parish comments of the Daventry new build contract:

“We are delighted to have been part of this process, having the opportunity to engage not just with the client’s procurement team but with its other delivery and management partners, as they planned, constructed and mobilised a facility capable of supporting the growing non-food merchandise operations. Our successful bespoke cleaning offer, will not just ensure that the 900 plus staff who’ll be working here will do so in a clean and hygienic environment but also that it’ll be a great place to work.”

TCFM’s growth within this sector has led to the creation of a dedicated distribution centre team, led by divisional controller Steve Wengrow, supported in this instance by DC mobilisation manager Raphael Sagula.

“The key to our success from mobilisation and into operations always starts with our people,” says Steve.

“Having an experienced mobilisation manager on site from contract award has been crucial in developing relationships with stakeholders at every level, building trust and confidence as we deliver on our promises. My team is looking forward to helping our new client achieve their goals and to delivering a fantastic service.”

New contracts for office and general area cleaning services at two other locations in Daventry and Rugby brings the company’s overall number of supply chain-related cleaning and FM contracts to 12, with a nationwide presence stretching from Livingston in Scotland to Arlington in Kent.

Keith French, strategic development director at TCFM comments:

“It’s great to see the ambition, planning and hard work of our team paying off and we are delighted to be providing services at these important supply chain sites. We secured our first distribution centre FM contract in September 2013 and have really gone from strength to strength since then.

“Our ambitious growth strategy for the distribution sector is supported by dedicated HR, mobilisation, administration, compliance and business development managers, making us perfectly placed to deliver in this challenging environment.

“Our pioneering approach sees us cleaning over 9 million square feet of logistics space and catering for over 7,000 people each day. We add further value by delivering specialist services such as security, de-kit, recoup and pallet management. We will continue to work with our clients and ‘Best in Class’ partners to deliver innovative solutions across supply chain FM."
