Selden Research wins supply chain award

* mark-woodhead.jpgBuxton, UK-based Selden Research has won the Supply Chain partnership for the third year running and attendees from the firm collected the award at a ceremony organised by MITIE.

MITIE's annual 'Work Safe Home Safe' awards were set up in 2010 to recognise excellence in health & safety performance, and officials said that their partnership with Selden has helped them to work in a safer and more efficient manner.

The awards panel said that Selden Research is one of the few organisations that will go 'on the front foot' and challenge the norm when looking for better and safer ways of working.

The team at MITIE found that Selden is leading the way in health & safety in the sector with an innovative system that allows it to achieve greater levels of compliance and assurance in relation to the REACH regulations.

Selden's 'Chemical Support Portal', which handles significant amounts of data relating to MITIE's chemical usage, uses the latest technology and live data to support a paperless solution and is very much tailored towards MITIE's needs and requirements.

Selden is currently working closely with MITIE to develop an innovative, sophisticated solution that will exceed the REACH Regulations. This solution will provide up to date protection and support to staff in the safe use of chemicals.
