Introducing the Pulire Clean project...

* Pulire.jpgThe 2015 edition of Pulire is growing thanks to a new element: the Pulire Clean project, which will address the needs of the fabric care and laundry equipment market.

Pavilion 1 of the Verona exhibition centre will be entirely dedicated to this market segment, bringing the equipment and product manufacturers from this sector into the professional cleaning industry fold with which it holds much synergy, yet with its own immediately recognisable and distinctive space.

The project was presented earlier this month at Expodetergo in Milan. For more than 30 years, Pulire has been the largest Italian professional cleaning exhibition and the second largest in Europe. As such it will offer those who work in fabric laundering and care a range of opportunities to expand their market and find new commercial partners.

At the last edition in 2013, Pulire attracted more than 270 exhibitors from 25 countries and more than 14,000 visitors from 90 countries from around the world. It hosted the leading manufacturers of mops, floorcare and uniforms that require increasingly specific and efficient washing solutions such as pre-application of mops and sweepers with the detergent necessary for floorcare, or specialised techniques for drying that do not compromise the characteristics of the materials, so it would have made sense to have the laundry sector on board and this will be addressed in 2015.

When it comes to chemical products; synergies and partnerships will be established with a view to achieving a complete service from washing machines to detergents, dedicated to those markets that represent the primary interest of both industries: Ho.Re.Ca (hotels, restaurants & catering), hospitals, health clinics and group homes.

To visitors, Pulire delivers many opportunities for contact with laundry professionals. In fact, 29% of Pulire's audience is represented by large service companies and facilities management companies which constantly offer outsourcing services especially for hospitality and the health sector. About 40% are retailers, dealers, distributors, importers and buying conglomerates.

Pulire represents a wide and growing international audience: 24% of visitors were from outside of Italy, in particular from Germany (10.2%), Switzerland (8.2%), Sweden (6.6%), Slovenia (6.5%), Spain (5.9%), France (5.5%), Belgium (5%), The Netherlands (4.8%), Romania (4.1%), Austria (3.8%), as well as from the rest of world, with Asia in the lead. The Pulire brand is also an international network of exhibitions that are held in Spain, Russia, Dubai, Asia, India, Australia and South Africa.

"Pulire is an event that has become more dynamic and always contemporary for industry professionals, while maintaining the history of its original purpose," while increasingly including the entire professional cleaning world and its allied industries," notes Toni D'Andrea, managing director of Afidamp Servizi, which organises Pulire on behalf of AfidampFAB.

"The 2013 edition was the first time we proposed the 2.0 concept," (Ed: The aim of this was to expand the level of interaction between suppliers and prospective buyers, exploiting to the utmost, the potential offered by new communication systems and processing, so that exhibitors could make the most of possible opportunities from their investment in the show) "which we will further expand in 2015, and we are delighted to communicate our intention of opening up a section dedicated to fabric care and laundry.

"We believe that dedicating a pavilion at Pulire to this area, which is so closely related to cleaning, demonstrates how our organisation is highly oriented toward the market and underlines our desire to build a network of ever expanding relationships."

Pulire 2015 will take place from 21st to 23rd May. For general information and to reserve exhibition space:
