Two new cleaning/FM contractors join the Templa CMS fold
Templa says it is delighted to welcome Maxim FM (Sunderland) and the MPS Group (Essex) as recent recruits to its CMS integrated management software.
With an annual turnover of £5m and £1.5m respectively, both companies focus primarily on cleaning, but also offer landscaping, property maintenance and janitorial supplies as part of their soft FM delivery.
While Maxim is planning to follow the fully integrated accounts route and migrate from Sage 50, MPS has chosen initially to run Sage 50 alongside CMS in a reduced integration option, but with a review after 12 months.
Taking advantage of Templa's new rental option, MPS has chosen this as the most appropriate solution for its business model. Meanwhile Maxim FM hasfollowed the outright purchase route and is keen to lay a solid systems foundation in preparation for a period of rapid expansion during which the company aims to become a national provider.
Both companies looked at Templa's two main competitors, before signing up with Templa.
"The key benefit of CMS is that it allows companies to grow revenue without a corresponding increase in administration expenses," suggests Rick Stoor, Templa's managing director. "So by licensing CMS on a rental basis early on, smaller contractors can enjoy profitability sooner than might otherwise be possible.
"With Maxim, it's great to be partnering a company who sees the client service benefits of CMS as being just as important as the admin savings. The industry is gradually accepting that software can help drive client satisfaction and prolong client relationships."
