New industry body 'The Building Futures Group' launches training arm

* Training.jpgThe newly merged membership body for facilities management, The Building Futures Group, has just launched its new training arm Asset Skills Training (AST).

Asset Skills Training will offer specialist and bespoke training in all areas of FM, cleaning, housing, property, building maintenance and parking. The programmes have been designed by a team with years of experience in working alongside large and small businesses and organisations.

"The knowledge and experience our team has in these industries positions our training company Asset Skills Training to offer forward thinking and responsive workplace training that truly meets the needs of employers," says Sarah Bentley, Chief Executive of The Building Futures Group.

"The Building Futures Group - the result of the merger between Asset Skills, the Cleaning & Support Services Association and the Facilities Management Association - has also been officially launched this week and I am delighted to unveil our comprehensive range of training courses as part of this.

"We will be offering courses from finance and welfare reform in the housing sector to the MBA in facilities management. There are online, interactive learning programmes in energy efficiency for private rental landlords, customer service for parking wardens, project management for estate managers and sales training for estate agents, and a comprehensive training programme for the cleaning industry.

"Our team has years of industry knowledge and can advise on training needs and business processes that help improve workforce skills and achieve more efficient working practices that lead to higher productivity.

"Asset Skills Training offers learning programmes at beginner level through to advanced. We hold face-to-face courses where we make use of our interactive display at our London headquarters, or we can offer virtual classrooms online. We can also tailor programmes according to what a particular company needs through an excellent in-house training offer."
