Gojo acquires French manufacturer, Laboratoires Prodene Klint

Gojo Industries announced this week the acquisition of Laboratoires Prodene Klint, saying that the two companies are joining forces to advance a shared vision of global leadership. Based in France, Prodene Klint specialises in professional hygiene, cosmetics and disinfectant products. Gojo, based in Akron, Ohio, is a global leader in skin health and hygiene products for away-from-home settings.

"Both Prodene Klint and Gojo, as third-generation, family-owned companies and category leaders, will advance our shared vision as the global leader in healthy skin and healthy places. Gojo is a privately held corporation headquartered in Akron, with offices in the United Kingdom, France, Australia, Japan and Brazil.

Created in 1973, Prodene Klint has become a major player in the French professional hygiene and the cosmetic wipes markets. The skin hygiene and disinfectant products it designs, develops and manufactures, are used in healthcare, food industry, industry and institutional settings. The company has a cosmetics division manufacturing site located in Annecy and two skin hygiene and disinfectant division production sites in the Parisian region. It has an international presence in Germany, North America and North Africa through subsidiaries, and in the rest of the world through a network of partners.
