Disposables UK reports strong increase in sales following Optimum ProWipers launch
Disposables UK, is reporting strong sales of its non-woven wipe range, Optimum ProWipers, which was rebranded in December last year.
The Optimum ProWipers range, which includes seven different types of wipes, has generated a 65% increase in sales of non-woven products in the period from December 2012 to July 2013.
The news follows Disposables UK's recent move to new state-of-the-art premises, as part of the company's five year growth plan to almost double its current £16m turnover to £30m by 2018. Disposables UK has also recently invested £1.7m in new machinery.
"When launching the Optimum ProWipers range our aim was to take a stronger share of the dry non-woven market and the strong sales clearly show that we are meeting market demand," explains Paul Halliwell, Director of Sales at Disposables UK Group.
"We know that our customers working in industrial sectors need wipers that are hygienic, versatile - and, above all, effective. This is why we created a versatile range of seven wipers to ensure that our customers get the right product, in the right place, for the right task.
"Our goal now is to take 5% market share and we're already seeing a significant number of customers increasing their contracts with us, including a major food processing outfit which has just extended its contract with us until the end of 2014."
