Working from a home office as I do, can be a little isolating - but it has its advantages… for example, I’ve produced this issue of Cleanzine from my garden in the sunshine, listening to some of my favourite music accompanied by the sound of the breeze rustling the leaves in the trees and the tweeting of birds. Bliss! And a highly productive way to work too!
You may shortly learn through the wider media (as a press release has just landed in my Inbox) that some 100 Tamworth officebroker.com staff are piloting a new ‘take your plant to work’ scheme offered by GardeningExpress.co.uk , aimed at boosting productivity. Workers are encouraged to bring in their favourite plants from home and to feed, water and care for them on their desks throughout the day. Managers hope workers will feel refreshed and inspired by having their plants with them. Staff productivity will be monitored during the study.
