Peartree supports long-serving colleague’s community music group with £1,000 donation
Peartree Cleaning Services has pledged £1,000 to support the Alabanza Group, a community group of singers and musicians led by key account manager Ney Guzmán. The donation will help the Dulwich-based group purchase new musical instruments and equipment, enabling its members to continue performing and bringing people together through music.
Originally from Ecuador, Ney has worked at Peartree for more than 28 years. He joined the company as a cleaning supervisor and has progressed through several managerial positions to become a key account manager, overseeing some of Peartree’s key contracts in London.
Outside work, Ney is an accomplished pianist, guitarist and singer. Having played music in Ecuador, he continued his passion after moving to London and is now the appointed leader of the Alabanza Group.
“I am very grateful to Peartree for its continued trust and support,” he says. “Leading the group is a wonderful opportunity and this donation will make a real difference by helping us secure the instruments and equipment we need. Peartree is like a second family to me.”
Stuart Conroy, commercial director at Peartree Cleaning Services, says: “Ney has made an outstanding contribution to Peartree throughout his 28 years with the company. We are proud to support something that means so much to him and that creates a positive impact in the wider community.”
The donation reflects Peartree’s commitment to supporting its people, nurturing talent and contributing positively to the communities in which it operates.
