Metsa 2027 Sustainability Awards: deadline for entries just three days away
There are just three days left in which to submit your entry into the Metsa 2027 Sustainability Awards, so if you are planning on putting your organisation’s successes forward for consideration by the judges and benefiting from all that this brings, you will need to hurry up. You only have until midnight, Sunday 20th September…
The Awards programme is open to all those involved in the cleaning & hygiene sector, be you either a provider or user of any size, a membership or accreditation organisation, or government department, (including local and county council). So if you, your organisation, team, service or product is making a positive difference to people and the planet, you are in with a chance of making the shortlist and perhaps even being announced the winner.
Founded with the aim of bringing about an increased focus on our industry; on sustainability in all its forms such as positive impacts on society, use of renewable energy, use of technology and of course carbon reduction, the Awards have generated a lot of interest.
“We are confident that the next event will be equally as successful,” says Metsa. “We hope that this Awards program will continue to drive momentum in Environmental, Social & Governance initiatives to help support the future of our world. Our aim is to highlight and reward sustainability practices throughout our industry and thus create a positive, lasting impact on the environment.
After two highly successful and enjoyable events since the biennial Awards were launched in 2023, the eagerly awaited Presentation Ceremony and Gala Dinner is next being held on the evening of Wednesday 17th March 2027, to coincide with the London Cleaning Show which takes place nearby at the Excel from 16th - 18th March.
This ‘co-location’ only serves to underline Metsa’s commitment to the sustainability cause, since the majority of those who will attend will already be in London for the exhibition. The venue this time around is the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich, London - the world’s largest maritime museum.
The nominated charity for the event is The Hygiene Bank while sponsors include BCHS Cleaning & Hygiene Supplies, Nationwide Hygiene Group, MSC, Mayflower Washroom Solutions, Source, Hayes Hygiene, Harrisons, and SC Johnson Professional.
Run in association with the Cleaning & Support Services Association, the Awards are being hosted in 2027 by Metsa’s Katrin brand, as part of the launch of new Katrin concepts branding (seewww.katrin.comfor details).
