Peartree appoints Andy Gook to drive growth in Scotland
Peartree Cleaning Services has appointed Andy Gook as business development manager as the company looks to accelerate its growth across Scotland. Edinburgh-based Andy brings more than 20 years’ experience selling soft services, including eight years within the commercial cleaning sector.
His appointment forms part of Peartree’s wider growth strategy and will see him focus primarily on securing new business across Scotland while also developing opportunities with existing customers and supporting growth across the north of England.
A key priority will be developing Peartree’s presence within Scotland’s commercial property market, with a particular focus on professional workplaces and organisations looking for high-quality cleaning services that support their wider ESG, workplace and budgetary objectives.
Scotland’s strong financial and professional services sectors, together with its mix of successful home-grown businesses and international organisations, are among the markets Peartree is targeting.
“The chance to build Peartree’s presence in Scotland was a major attraction for me,” admits Andy. “Peartree already has an established reputation and a strong proposition, so there is considerable scope to introduce the business to a wider Scottish market.
“I have always enjoyed working within family-run businesses and there is a real sense of personal investment and energy at Peartree. My priority now is to develop relationships across our target markets and significantly expand our customer base across Scotland.”
Brad Reames, managing director at Peartree, adds: “Scotland is an important market for Peartree and Andy’s appointment gives us dedicated business development expertise on the ground.
“We see significant potential to expand our presence across the region. As we build our customer base, we will invest in our operational teams alongside it ensuring we maintain the standards and service Peartree is known for as we grow.”
Andy will be based near Edinburgh, giving him direct access to Scotland’s central belt.
