Bionetix new synergistic five-enzyme concentrate for detergent and industrial cleaning power

Quebec, Canada-based biosolutions provider Bionetix International has released Envia Core, the first in a new line of enzyme concentrates.

This platform of five ‘core’ enzymes promises to bring enhanced cleaning and waste treatment power to laundry and automatic dishwashing detergent formulators, industrial cleaning professionals, and environmental remediation teams seeking more sustainable solutions.

Envia Core acts as a synergistic multi-enzyme hydrolysis platform, accelerating the breakdown of proteins, starches, fats and complex polysaccharides into smaller, more manageable compounds thanks to the synergistic activity of five targeted enzymes:

* Protease for protein-based stains (e.g., blood, grass, sweat, food)
* Amylase for starch-based soils (e.g., sauces, gravies)
* Lipase for fat-based residues (e.g., oil, sebum, grease)
* Mannanase for mannan-based compounds (e.g., gums and thickeners)
* Cellulase for cellulosic materials (e.g., cotton microfibrils/pilling) 

Stain removal enzyme performance…

Under standardised laboratory testing, (Testing performed according to ASTM D4265 under standardised washing conditions at 40 °C) the addition of Envia Core to a commercial laundry detergent showed measurable improvements in stain removal compared to the reference detergent formulation:

* Up to 70% improvement on protein-based stains
* Up to 27% improvement on starch-based soils
* Up to 33% improvement on polysaccharide and gum-based residues
* Up to 33% reduction in soil redeposition

Complementary enzymatic cleaning action makes Envia Core a powerful addition to liquid laundry detergents, automatic dishwashing tablets and liquids, stain removers and presoaks, and clean-in-place (CIP) treatments - while helping reduce reliance on harsher chemical cleaning agents.
