Diamond Chemical acquires Nyco
New Jersey-based Diamond Chemical has acquired Illinois-based Nyco Products, uniting two historic US cleaning chemicals businesses with over 200 years of combined industry experience.
“By bringing together our coastal operations with Nyco's impressive Midwest manufacturing footprint, we are creating a truly national provider of commercial, institutional, industrial cleaning solutions and speciality chemical products,” notes Diamond Chemical’s CEO, Wesley Alves. “But beyond the operational expansion, this represents a true union of two deeply aligned cultures.
"Nyco brings deep formulation expertise, a strong brand portfolio, and a Midwest manufacturing footprint that perfectly complements our coastal operations. Together, we can offer our customers broader product availability and stronger national service.

Referring to Bob Stahurski, who is retiring as CEO of Nyco after 40 years at the helm, Wesley adds:

He cultivated a culture defined by quality, reliability, and deep loyalty to his customers. It is a massive responsibility to take over a business with that kind of history, and it is an honour that Bob has trusted Diamond to carry the torch forward.
