Chemical-free drain seal technology Green Drain to expand UK operations
Green Drain, the globally recognised provider of patented, chemical-free drain seal technology, has announced the official expansion of its distribution and support network across the UK.
The launch is aimed at providing hygiene product suppliers, pest control product distributors and FM suppliers with a profitable, unique solution to meet the growing customer demand for permanent, non-toxic drain protection.
Green Drain is a reliable, self-cleaning valve that inserts directly into floor drains, immediately creating a guaranteed physical barrier. This prevents the passage of hazardous sewer gases (H2S), eliminates drain-borne pests (flies, cockroaches) and removes the need for constant flushing or chemical treatments.
The Green Drain is globally proven, sold in over 90 countries, and backed by certifications demonstrating its ability to maintain hygiene standards. Its reliability is proven through installation in high-compliance settings internationally (CPH Copenhagen Airport, FedEx) and its adoption by major UK hotel group Hilton.
This strong performance track record makes it an easy-to-sell solution for distributors serving hospitals, hotels, restaurants and other high-risk commercial facilities.
"The market for hygiene and pest control demands solutions that are effective, permanent and free from constant maintenance,” says Keld Rindom, managing director, Green Drain.
“Green Drain delivers on all three. We are seeking committed UK distributors who want to lead the market with a high-demand product that simplifies health & safety compliance for their end-users."
Green Drain allows distributors to offer their clients a simple way to prevent the access of pests and bacteria at the source, aligning with modern Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies. Its zero-maintenance design eliminates the risk of human error associated with dry traps, ensuring hygiene standards are met 24/7.
Justin Granath, COO at Green Drain, adds:
"Green Drain is the smarter, hassle-free drain seal solution your customers will ask for. We are confident and credible, emphasising proven performance and providing our partners with a unique commercial opportunity to add a fast-moving, high-margin product to their range with minimal competition."
