Atlas scoops RoSPA Award

* Atlas-RoSPA.jpgAtlas FM has received a RoSPA Silver Award, demonstrating its commitment to health & safety excellence and keeping staff, customers, clients and contractors safe at work.

Now in its 69th year, and with almost 2,000 entries annually from over 50 countries, covering over seven million employees, The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents holds the world's largest health & safety awards programme, recognising those organisations and individuals who have set the highest standards in accident prevention.

Whether seeking non-competitive excellence recognition or entering for a competitive award across 20 industry sectors, each RoSPA Award entrant is assessed against rigorous criteria, making Atlas FM a leader in shaping safer, healthier workplaces.

"I want to say thank you to all our people who have achieved this accolade,” says Chris Hughes, Atlas head of quality, health, safety and environment. “This award shows the good progress we have made as a business - all the more impressive given how much we have grown year-on-year. Our employees' wellbeing is of the highest importance and we are building a safety culture that helps to protect and support them to do their best work. We look forward to continuously improve on our health & safety over the coming years."

Julia Small, RoSPA's growth director, says of Atlas’ achievement:

"Atlas FM should be proud of the hard work and commitment to keeping people safe that has resulted in a RoSPA Silver Award, which honours those organisations who have achieved the highest standards in health and safety in the workplace. RoSPA regards Atlas FM as a strong example of the importance of making accident prevention central to any successful organisation, not just for the benefit of employees, customers and clients, but also society as a whole."
