The Cleaning Show 2025: Top picks you won't want to miss

* Top-picks.jpegJoanne Gilliard, one of the Ambassadors for The Cleaning Show 2025 and CEO of Jangro - the UK’s largest network of independent janitorial distributors - talks us through some of what she considers will be highlights of The Cleaning Show, being held at London’s ExCel exhibition centre from 18th – 20th March 2025…

“Tuesday 10:30 AM - CSSA Fire Pit Session:
The CSSA Fire Pit Sessions, run by the Northern and Southern Community groups, are a fantastic opportunity for open discussions on key industry topics. We are really looking forward to seeing new and familiar faces to update on our plans for 2025. These sessions bring industry peers together in an informal setting, allowing for valuable conversations, fresh perspectives and collaborations. I want to help raise awareness of this event and encourage more people to take part. It's a great way to stay informed, share knowledge and drive progress within the sector.

Tuesday 12:15 PM - Sustainability: Why regulations matter:
Sustainability is at the heart of Jangro's mission. This session is particularly relevant as we continue to champion environmentally responsible products, such as our new ‘ntrl’ paper range and other sustainable innovations. Regulations play a critical role in shaping industry standards and best practices, ensuring that sustainability efforts are not just well-intentioned but also effective and compliant. Attending this session will provide valuable insights into the regulatory landscape, helping us better understand upcoming changes, challenges and opportunities. It's essential for businesses to stay ahead of these developments to remain competitive and genuinely contribute to a greener future. I am also excited to see our very own Sustainability & Innovations Manager, Daisy Hunter, on the panel sharing her thoughts and insights.

Thursday 12:15 PM - Future proofing the cleaning sector:
“The future of the cleaning industry is something I am incredibly passionate about. It's important that we take proactive steps to ensure long-term sustainability, innovation and workforce development. One of the key challenges the industry faces is attracting and retaining younger talent. To future-proof the sector, we need to position cleaning and facilities management as dynamic, with rewarding career paths and real opportunities for growth and development. This session will provide an excellent platform to explore strategies for embracing new technologies and making cleaning an appealing profession for the next generation.
