Steemeasy starter for new business Elite Housekeeping
Elite Housekeeping Group in Cheshire is a fast-growing business employing a team of technicians and when founder and managing director Jodie Hibbert decided to include carpet cleaning in her offer, she turned to Prochem to help pave the way.
Jodie attended the Prochem Two-Day Carpet Cleaning Course and subsequently passed the National Carpet Cleaners Association exam. She requested a Prochem product demo, impressed by what she had seen during the training, and in no time, she was in contact with Prochem dealer and Jangro member, Cutler Cleaning in Macclesfield, and found herself its first purchaser of the new model, Steemeasy.
The latest introduction to Prochem Europe's carpet & upholstery extraction cleaning range brings added power and capacity in a compact solution that can tackle first floor cleaning without relocating the unit.
To complement her purchase, Jodie bought a range of accessories along with a Prochem air mover.
Why the Steemeasy?
"A number of reasons," says Jodie. "The machine can fit inside a car comfortably for transport. We're finding it offers fantastic performance similar to larger units on the market, but in a more compact build. It's easy to use. And it's British-built!"
The Steemeasy is supplied as a complete system with a 12in single jet wand and 25ft (7.5m) vacuum and solution hose assembly. Manufactured in the UK by Prochem from a two-year design inception, the Steemeasy brings together a new specification and the best of proven technology with solid performers in the current 3-stage vacuum motor and 200psi Aquatec pump. The powerful vacuum motor enables the operator to clean on a floor level above the machine, by running an extra 7.5m extension hose up a flight of stairs.
With a tank capacity of 22 litres of clean solution and 18 litres of waste water in a compact design, the conventional ball float system and filter has been replaced with a waste inlet mesh filter bag and electronic float switch. The mesh filter bag is designed to capture loose fibres and debris, while the preset auto cut-off protects the vacuum from waste foam/water ingestion.
Additional features include a UK-manufactured roto-moulded tank; locking front castor wheels and large rear wheels to aid manoeuvrability; a clear waste tank lid for ease of level checking; clam shell opening for easy access and maintenance; angled waste inlet to help prevent waste water turbulence; and a top mounted switch panel and solution outlet.
Says Prochem area sales & training executive, James Callaghan:
"We're delighted Jodie and the team at Elite are finding the new model Steemeasy fits the bill so well. Jodie got everything right, getting her cleaning knowledge up to speed via our training before jumping into a machine purchase."
