* Interclean-Healthcare-Cleaning-Forum.jpgOn 16th May 2024, Interclean's Healthcare Cleaning Forum will once again open its doors to healthcare cleaning enthusiasts from far and wide. With a packed programme aimed at cleaning professionals, healthcare experts, hospital managers, infection prevention specialists, facilities managers and industry leaders - this much anticipated event is a highlight on the professional cleaning industry calendar.

Running alongside Interclean Amsterdam, the world's leading trade fair for cleaning & hygiene professionals, the Forum explores the latest trends and challenges affecting environmental hygiene and disinfection in healthcare institutions.

Visitors to the event can look forward to an extensive programme featuring breakout sessions and internationally renowned keynote speakers Prof. Didier Pittet and Alexandra Peters (University of Geneva Hospitals, Switzerland), Martin Kiernan (Richard Wells Research Centre, UK), Edm-e Bowles (Radboudumc, the Netherlands), Clare Nash (Black Country Alliance, UK) and Brett Mitchell (Avondale University, Australia). Environmental cleaning and disinfection play pivotal roles in reducing healthcare-associated infections. The awareness of this continues to grow, which is reflected in the increased number of scientific publications and the many innovative technologies entering the market. Therefore, the moment(um) is now!

The Healthcare Cleaning Forum is a unique platform which brings together all sectors of the industry to address the complex challenges posed by healthcare-associated infections, as well as showcase groundbreaking opportunities and pioneering solutions within this vital sector of the industry.

This one-day conference will recognise that multiple factors influence the efficiency of cleaning, including procedures, training and education, technology and materials. It will offer in-depth insights into potential stumbling blocks and recent developments which affect environmental cleaning & hygiene in the healthcare sector in hospitals and long-term-care institutions.

The Forum will raise awareness, facilitate discussions of best practices and explore the latest scientific research on how cleaning can have an impact on infection prevention and control. A collaborative approach with opportunities for valuable input and feedback, will ensure vibrant discussions and robust analysis - paving the way for the success of future initiatives.
