Andy Gregory becomes EcoTech MD

* EcoTech_Andy-Gregory.jpgCoventry-based cleaning product manufacturer EcoTech (Europe) has announced the appointment of a new managing director to spearhead its ambitious growth plans. Taking the reins is Andy Gregory who steps up from the role of finance director which he has held since May of last year.

Andy will oversee all areas of the business which has developed an enviable reputation for the quality and performance of its cleaning products across a broad spectrum of sectors, from janitorial, healthcare and food processing through to industrial applications.

Having graduated in accountancy from Birmingham City University, Andy began his career with Stoy Hayward. He then became a divisional accountant for Davies Odell, a manufacturer of specialist products for the footwear sector. Stepping up to the position of managing director in 2009, he oversaw the company's diversification into the production of specialist flooring and motorcycle body armour, delivering substantial growth and an export business serving 50 countries worldwide. He then worked in a variety of consultancy roles before joining EcoTech.

"It's an exciting time for the business as we seek to double our turnover over the next two years,” reveals Andy. “I believe passionately in UK manufacturing and developing people to realise their full potential and those will be key factors in that growth. We already have a strong brand and a portfolio of high-quality cleaning products which will be enhanced with a number of key additions over the next 12 months."
