Sweden: New collective agreement for in-house cleaning work
Sweden's Almega Tjänsteföretagen (the Service Employer Association) and Vårdföretagarna (The Association for Private Care Providers) have signed a new collective agreement with the Real Estate Employees' Association for cleaning work under their own auspices.
The new agreement extends over 24 months and the total cost frame is 7.4%. "It is positive that we have signed another agreement where everything fits within the framework that the parties have previously agreed on, the so-called mark," explains Sara Ejdeskog, who is responsible for contracts for Vårdföretagarna.
"The negotiations have taken place in good spirit with the common goal of finding conditions that work in the long term for both employers and employees. The collective agreement applies during the period 1st November 2023 to 31st October 2025. Almega strives for the best conditions for both entrepreneurs and employees, believing that offering attractive conditions is crucial for the success of service companies.
"Together we create a good labour market during the contract negotiations, but above all every day in the workplace in conversations between entrepreneurs and employees," it says. "In the 2023 contract movement, Almega signs a total of 130 contracts, the most of all employer organisations."
