La pièce de résistance!
Cleaning carpets, rugs and fabrics of such high quality and value, might put many cleaning technicians off, due to the risk, but not Carpet Care France, in Paris. The company has had contracts with the French government for many years now and that involves the cleaning and regular maintenance of carpets, fabrics and rugs, worth millions of Euros.
Over the years, owner Sebastien Malfanti has developed a business that offers clients not only the highest level of care and support, but an expansion of its specific services to include a fully operational rug cleaning plant, including drying room, colour repair and carpet and rug repairs, following damage by insect infestation, for example.
Sales manager Adil Karem manages a team of more than 30 technicians, in Paris alone, with contracts to clean inside Notre Dame Du Paris and the Palace of Versailles as well as multiple prestigious hotels and government buildings.
All highly trained, Adil and his teams regularly visit Prochem for refresher training. They represent a great advocate of Prochem cleaning solutions and Carpet Care uses Prochem as a matter of confidence.
Recently, Carpet Care was asked to clean and restore a rug, manufactured back in 1853, for the Notre Dame Du Paris.
The roof of Notre Dame Du Paris was damaged by fire back in 2019 and the building has been closed for renovation work since, with an expected reopening in late 2024.
The rug was slightly contaminated by smoke but just wasn't any rug - it was huge and valued at just over two million Euros.
Adil and his team set to work with a very focused and careful vacuuming of the rug. It was so large that the clean had to take place in the warehouse of the Notre Dame Du Paris.
Then, with the aid of Prochem products - in particular C803 Fiberdri and A222 Smoke & Odour Neutraliser - and a great deal of pride, they cleaned and restored the client's valued item.
The painstaking work took Adil and his team days to clean, but the extremely valuable rug is now in a condition to be back on display in that famous building, in all its glory, once it opens again.
In addition to France, Carpet Care has offices and important clients in Geneva, Capri, Monaco, Hong Kong and London.
The company also undertakes specialist cleaning of multi-million Euro mega-yachts on the French Riviera.
