Federation of Window Cleaners acknowledges excellence

Window Cleaning specialist and a highly regarded Birmingham business with 20-plus years in the industry, Art Cleaning Services (www.artcleaning.co.uk).

Based in Great Barr, the firm says it is delighted to have been named Joint Winner of the Window Cleaning Company of the Year Award. It shared the accolade with Salford, Manchester-based HCS Cleaning Services (www.hcs-cleaning-services.co.uk), which boasts 50-plus years of expertise.

"This year saw higher numbers of entrants with extremely high-quality submissions than in previous years," says organiser The Federation of Window Cleaners. "Judging and scoring all entrants was very difficult for the judges with not many points separating the actual winners and those nearly placed.

"Judging was based on industry achievements, time served in the window cleaning industry, customer testimonials and an overall contribution to the industry.

Art Cleaning managing director, Simon Hart, says the company is "incredibly proud" to have been recognised for this award, having been a runner up in 2017. "The last 12 months has seen a huge amount of change for our company, from adopting a new IT system that has streamlined our processes, to internal company expansion and renovations, and of course all this on the back of the pandemic challenges!" he says. "So, to have been awarded Company of the Year at this stage is a really proud moment and a true testament to the hard work and dedication of the all the team."

Congratulations also go to Employee of the Year Christian Paredes Urrego, of Principle Cleaning Services (https://principleclean.com). The Awards were held in March as part of the UK's annual Cleaning Show.
