Solid start to the year for hygiene supplier Lixall

* Lixall.jpgHygiene and workwear supplier, Lixall, has reported a strong start to the year with a 30% increase on orders over quarter one in 2022.

Managing director of Lixall, Nick Atkinson puts the recent success down to the increased number of new customers gained following significant investment in its website and online purchase platform.

"We have achieved a very promising start to the year and are forecasting growth of 56% by the end of 2023," he says. "One early success for the year is a recently secured contract to supply Olympic Holidays with leisurewear for their overseas reps, including breathable polo shirts and easy to wear shorts."

Lixall has a long history as a supplier of washroom, cleaning, floorcare, protective clothing, housekeeping and catering products to commerce and industry. Over the past decade the firm has continued to extend its product range and invested substantially in delivery vehicles, information technology and stock.

According to Research & Markets, the UK Professional Cleaning (Sanitisation & Disinfectant) Products market held a market value of approx. UK £11.5 million (USD 1,414.8M) in 2021 and is estimated to register a growth rate of 11.94% by the year 2030. In 2021, approximately 1,769.4 million tonnes of professional cleaning products were sold.

The sector in general saw a significant increase in cleaning and hygiene product needs during the Covid outbreak and Lixall aligned its product offering to meet demand. The latest items to be added to the portfolio are from the Karcher professional cleaning equipment range.
