Atlas appoints new cleaning managing director
One of Britain's fastest growing facilities management companies, Atlas, has announced the appointment of Ed Bolton into the newly created position of cleaning managing director.
Ed has spent much of his career in commercial and operational roles in the cleaning industry and brings extensive experience gained in senior leadership positions at OCS, ISS and IAG, where he has established a track record of leading successful teams in large organisations, delivering service excellence and strong organic growth.
This is a new position created to support Atlas's growth ambitions. From a turnover of around £40 million five years ago, the company is now a £200 million FM group. Its cleaning business is present in every region of the UK and employs around 9,000 people, with Atlas as a whole employing 10,000. It has prestigious cleaning contracts in many sectors, with staff working in places as varied as corporate headquarters, football stadiums, schools and five-star hotels.
