Recorra acquires national clinical waste provider Cliniclear
London and South East based recycling company Recorra has announced the acquisition of Cliniclear, a specialist provider of waste management to the healthcare sector, based in Hastings.
The acquisition will provide Recorra with a national capability in clinical waste management and will also expand the company's presence along the South coast - expanding its successful Brighton and Hastings based business.
“Targeted acquisitions, such as Cliniclear, are an important part of our wider growth plans,” reveals managing director of Recorra, Bill Swan. This purchase broadens our geographical coverage and adds significant specialist capabilities to Recorra.

Significant account wins in London, such as the Kings Cross estate and Battersea Power Station and many smaller new contracts means that more clients than ever are benefiting from our approach of delivering high quality Real Recycling.”

Founded in 1988 by Friends of the Earth as Paper Round and now an independent company, Recorra has consistently been one of the first companies to bring to market new recycling streams, such as coffee cups and compostables and to launch new innovations such as waste and recycling Carbon Reduction Reports to help customers on their low carbon, net zero journeys.
