Window cleaning firms and employees invited to enter national competition
The Federation of Window Cleaners is inviting entries for its prestigious biennial national awards. The deadline for submissions to Window Cleaning Company of the Year 2023 and Window Cleaner (Employee) of the Year 2023, is just over a month away, on 20th February.
The winners will receive an engraved trophy, framed certificate and £100 gift voucher and will also be announced at the Cleaning Show at Excel London, which runs from 14th through 16th March, 2023.
Window Cleaning Company of the Year is open to all companies in the industry, including sole traders, who are registered members of the FWC.
Judging will be based on industry achievements and training, time served in the window cleaning industry, customer and client testimonials and overall contribution to the industry, along with reasons given for entering the competition.
Window Cleaner (Employee) of the Year is open to all window cleaners who are registered members of the FWC, and all employees of registered members. Employees must be nominated by their employer.
Judging will be based on industry achievements, time served, customer and client testimonials and evidence of training and qualifications.
"I would encourage all our members to enter one or both competitions," enthuses FWC Chairman Andrew Lee.
"You never know, you may win or be placed and this would be an excellent opportunity to showcase your business and show your customers and competitors alike, your skills, professionalism and reputation.
"Not to mention some pretty good ongoing press and advertising and having the kudos of being the FWC's window cleaning company or employee of the year."
