Delphis Eco CEO Mark Jankovich wins Leader of the Year Award at Made In Britain Impact Awards

* DELPHIS-ECO_MARK-JANKOVICH.jpgMark Jankovich, CEO of British eco-cleaning brand Delphis Eco, has won Leader of the Year Award at the 2022  Made in Britain Impact Awards.

The awards, which are open exclusively to all accredited Made in Britain members, enables sustainable companies to share their achievements and thus shines a light on the inspiring manufacturers who are leading the way in transforming the industry, whilst providing every UK manufacturer with the chance to learn from the sector's most sustainable businesses.

In its inaugural year, the categories were centred around sustainability, including green and good business, as Made in Britain looks to continue to support manufacturers on the road to sustainable business.

Mark was recognised for his outstanding leadership in sustainable manufacturing, in driving forward innovative, sustainable initiatives in the business and acting as a champion for sustainable business more broadly in the sector.

"I am absolutely delighted to win this award, especially as its judged by industry experts right across the sustainability spectrum,” enthuses Mark. “I have an exceptional team working with me and so this award is also about them for their continued hard work and dedication to our business.

“It is great to see that this year, the Made in Britain Awards are centred around sustainability in supporting manufacturers to be more sustainably focused in their both their vision and operations. This support will be vitally important as we enter a new era where brands will be increasingly held to account in how their waste is recycled and how it re-enters the supply chain."

All the winners were given a trophy and had the opportunity of winning a handmade Impact Awards glass bowl, made by Made in Britain member, Dartington Crystal.

Delphis Eco has produced an award-winning, ecological professional cleaning range from renewable, plant-based ingredients and the entire range is packaged in the UK's first, 100% post-consumer recycled plastic bottles, reducing carbon by 70% compared to virgin plastic. None of the products are tested on animals and the certified B Corporation, is said to be the first UK manufacturer to have achieved EU Ecolabel (Defra) accreditation. The company is committed to being Carbon Zero by 2030 through all aspects of its business, pioneering a way to repurpose single-use plastic, using renewable energy, using vegetable ink for bottle labels, and 100 per cent recycled cardboard boxes including the inner box liner.

Delphis Eco is also honoured to hold Royal Warrants from the late HM The Queen and HRH The Prince of Wales (now King Charles III) and to represent Green Is Great in the UK Government's GREAT Britain campaign.
