Incentive FM renews contract with Royal Shakespeare Company

* INCENTIVE-RENEWS.jpgIncentive FM has renewed its contract with the Royal Shakespeare Company - the world's best-known theatre company. Everything the RSC does begins at its workshops and theatres, situated in the historical destination of Stratford-Upon-Avon, before being shared around the world.

Extending its relationship for another three years, will take Incentive FM's partnership with the RSC to nine years.

Incentive FM's Destination & Heritage sector will continue to be responsible for providing a range of services including cleaning and security to the client team, the actors and the audiences who all frequent the RSC's amazing spaces.

Incentive FM prides itself on partnering with clients and being their ‘Trusted Advisor’. The impact of the recent pandemic presented an opportunity for Incentive FM and the RSC to work together and create, construct and manage an outdoor theatre that enabled the works of Shakespeare to continue to be shared at a time when there was very little positivity and creativity in the world.

The wider estate outside of the main theatres includes several Heritage buildings that have their own unique and exciting characteristics and the Incentive FM team enjoys preparing and maintaining these buildings to enhance the experience for everyone who visits.

The team is also integral to the safe delivery of the performances, whilst ensuring that security protocols are sympathetically managed as audiences arrive and leave the theatres, It is also responsible for Fire Officer duties during some of the spectacular performances that involve pyrotechnics.

“Looking to the future and building on our partnership we look to support the RSC further with a collaborative approach to Social Value and working within the community,” says Claire Rumsey, director, Incentive FM. “Our teams will focus on a number of community initiatives developed to make a real difference and support the RSC in its objectives, ensuring that Shakespeare really is accessible to all.

"The team members have such a connection with this contract and the importance of their role in delivering the client’s vision that 'Shakespeare should be accessible to all'. It's a vital part of their community and they're proud to be a part of the team, it really shines through."

Chris O'Brien, director of estates & IT, RSC, says: "Incentive FM continues to drive improvements within the delivery of services across the Estate and we are very happy to have renewed our contract to further strengthen our already successful partnership."
