Hooper Services celebrates 33rd anniversary with Manchester Cleaning Show success
Hooper Services, currently celebrating its 33rd year in business, had a successful Manchester Cleaning Show last week, with lots of interest being shown in the Italian-engineered TSM range of cleaning machines, for which the company holds the exclusive rights to distribute in the UK.
“Well what a week we have had!” remarks owner Ian Hooper. “The show was really good and we made lots of new contacts who were particularly interested in the TSM cleaning machines we were demonstrating. It’s is a fantastic range; very well engineered, made to last and offering excellent cleaning ability.”
Ian says that because the machines are low-maintenance, they are an excellent investment since a machine that requires regular and perhaps costly maintenance can be a false economy.
“Maintenance costs can hit your pocket on a contract and affect your bottom line,” he warns. “The new Willmop50 and Willmop50 Ecoray will significantly reduce cleaning time. Let’s face it; time is money and with the shortage of labour in the cleaning industry this equipment could really help, doing the equivalent of 55 minutes of mopping in around 3.6 minutes, thus offering a significant time saving and a much better clean.”
Ian, who started his career repairing cleaning machinery for a company that sent him all over the country, launched Hooper Services as a local alternative to large corporate companies. From the beginning, the company was able to not only repair and service all types of cleaning machinery, but could also recommend new machinery specific to the requirements of the customer.
Now, 30 years on, Hooper Services can supply, service and repair all types of commercial and domestic machinery, from a Numatic Henry all the way up to a ride-on scrubber dryer and more. It provides free training on machinery which is sold as standard and offers aftersales support and service contracts to ensure the longevity of the machinery. Some machines are also available for hire.
The company can advise and recommend different machines from a range of manufacturers, taking into consideration any specific requests, and with its ‘out on the road’ and in-house engineers, a dedicated customer support team and a large warehouse based in Farlington, Hampshire, it can provide a comprehensive service to all its customers, including PAT testing and electrical work.
