Idrobase Group's nebulisation at Expo2020 Dubai
Italian Idrobase Group has been a consolidated point of reference in the nebulisation sector for years, in the United Arab Emirates.
Throughout the country are widespread various solutions including fog makers for disinfection, nebulising lines for cooling and furnishing accessories from the Enjoy Your Life line, which now illuminate and cool one of the most prestigious 7-star hotels.
In Dubai, for Expo2020, which is running until 31st March 2022, Idrobase Group has made its technology available for the construction of misting systems in one of the most important cultural crossroads in the world. The installations involve not only the Italian pavilion, but also those of Poland and Morocco, confirming the trust gained by the ‘Made in Italy’ tag.
The system that runs along the Italian pavilion acts as a cooling system and makes the atmosphere even more in line with the theme the pavilion aims to explore: ‘Beauty connects people’.
The Italian pavilion is the only one of the 142 pavilions at Expo2020 that uses a completely natural system for cooling. A complex interaction between the nebulisation system - supplied and installed both internally and externally by Idrobase Group - and a set of algae positioned on the surface, facilitate the reoxygenation of the pavilion. It is a low energy consumption solution that costs the environment 90% less than traditional air conditioning.
The installations in the other pavilions are also impressive: 700 nozzles are distributed along the seven floors of the building that hosts the project presented by Morocco, while visitors to the Polish pavilion are welcomed by an embracing and pleasant mist.
Responding to the company philosophy of ‘Clean Breathing’, the nebulised water is always sterilised, which means it is free from viruses and bacteria, an issue more important than ever these days.
