Introducing the next step in data use & cleaning solutions

* Spectro.jpgAfter running several pilots last year, Dutch company Spectro has now officially launched the 'Internet of Spectro', taking the next step in effectively and efficiently using data in the provision of cleaning solutions. Its Internet Modules, Spectro Technical Service and Spectro App play a big role in the technology.

Users of Spectro's innovative cleaning solutions have the Spectro Internet Module installed, which can communicate with all of Spectro's dosing equipment and sensors. This data is continuously passed to Spectro's server, where it is can be further analysed and any necessary changes made to ensure the user never runs out of product.

A practical application of this system, is in the monitoring of large packaging facilities such as Intermediate Bulk Containers and MiBCs in the car/truckwash and the food & beverage processing industries. Spectro can read out data to the minute, which allows it to automatically send out new product just before it is needed, to save the user the time and trouble normally taken in making out an order.

The Internet Modules, sensors and dosing equipment are all developed and produced by Spectro itself in its energy-neutral factory. Equipment is professionally installed by the Spectro Technical Service Team, which is available 24 hours/day to help users' operations run smoothly.

Another important aspect of the Internet of Spectro is the rebranded app. The old Ecodos App has been transformed into the Spectro App, which comes with many more functionalities. For example, companies can request installations via the Technical Service and generate work reports. In the near future, users will be able to receive notifications when a product is (almost) empty and needs a refill.
