Riwal adds Norway to JLG distributorship

* RIWAL-NORWAY.jpgJLG Industries, global manufacturer of aerial work platforms and telescopic material handlers, has announced the appointment of Riwal as its distributor for Norway, with Karel Huijser, JLG EMEAIR's vice president and managing director, saying:

"We are excited to extend our partnership with Riwal in Norway. Its presence in the country and knowledge of the market, will contribute to further growth of our products and service in the region."

As the distributor for the region, Riwal will be responsible for sales, marketing, training and aftersales service for the full range of JLG aerial work platforms. Riwal will serve customers such as rental companies as well as end users in construction, manufacturing and logistics.

Pedro Torres, CEO of Riwal adds: "Last year Riwal and JLG celebrated the 25th anniversary of Riwal being an official JLG distributor; this long-lasting partnership resulted in having extensive expertise with the JLG brand in our rental fleet. These dealerships have enabled us to become one of the leaders in AWP equipment in The Netherlands, Poland, Kazakhstan, and the Balkan countries.

“Our highly motivated teams in the Nordics will be able to significantly develop the local access equipment business, there is a lot of potential as the purchase of new equipment is increasingly common alongside the purchase of traditionally used equipment. "

Jesper Becker, equipment sales manager in the Nordics, adds: "With the official dealership of JLG in Norway and the opportunity to offer our customers the full range of products from the world's leading manufacturer we look forward to strengthening the market position for JLG and Riwal in Norway. With great enthusiasm, we will be working as a full-service partner for both our existing customers and all new customers."

The Riwal Holding Group, established in 1968 and headquartered in The Netherlands, employs over 2.500 people, has 70 depot operations in 16 countries, operates over 20.000 units and conducts business in over 70 countries.
