Jangro introduces new deep cleaning resources
Two new resources are now available to help ensure shared spaces, such as education and catering establishments, are cleaned effectively.
Jangro, the UK & Ireland's largest network of independent janitorial and cleaning distributors, has launched a 'Deep Clean Product Guide for Education' and extended its range of training Task Cards, to include one exclusively focused on 'Deep Cleaning'.
The 'Deep Clean Product Guide for Education' contains useful information to help nurseries, schools, and colleges, select the best products to prevent the spread of infection, such as the Jangronauts hand soap and dispensers, a fun range designed especially for children. As well as advising on best hand washing and sanitising techniques, it also helps to identify common germ hotspots within educational facilities.
This handy guide also includes antiviral disinfectants and surface cleaners, disposable wipes, and floor care products as well as solutions and procedures required to clean a potential virus outbreak. There are also instructions on how to clean and disinfect a fogging machine.
Jangro has also extended its award-winning e-learning platform (the Jangro Learning Management Solution), with the addition of a training Task Card dedicated to Deep Cleaning. Task Cards are brief, highly visual documents, which contain step-by-step instructions for product usage and safety information, so staff can refer to them 'on the go'.
The 'Deep Cleaning' Task Card outlines best practice for donning PPE, hand hygiene procedures, colour-coding and cleaning in non-healthcare settings, disinfecting high touchpoints, cleaning a potential virus outbreak, and waste disposal. It also includes enhanced guidance for chemical fogging.
Joanne Gilliard, CEO at Jangro comments: “Springtime is synonymous with cleaning. This April, with all children back to school, and also bars, cafes, and restaurants reopening (albeit al-fresco), it is the perfect time for premises to under-go a deep clean.
“At a time when there is so much choice on the market, our new guide will help organisations to sort the wheat from the chaff and select the most effective products for their settings.
“Given the importance of cleaning and hygiene, particularly as we navigate the pandemic, the Deep Cleaning Task Card was a natural addition. We hope this will act as a handy reference guide, enabling a high quality clean to be achieved.”
