New dates for this year's Cleaning Show announced
This year's Cleaning Show has been moved to 2nd, 3rd and 4th November following the Prime Minister recently setting out the 'road map' for the UK Coronavirus lockdown easing.
The 2021 edition of the nation's premier cleaning & hygiene event will take place at London's Excel as previously planned.
Registration to attend the biennial Cleaning Show is free, with the London edition now attracting over 7,000 visitors and featuring a wide range of national and international exhibitors.
This year's show had been planned for early June but it has been moved to remove any uncertainty caused by the pandemic.
All existing exhibitor bookings and visitor registrations remain in place and will be transferred automatically to the new dates.
Highlights of this year's show remain unchanged and include:
- the highly topical conference programme featuring leading industry figures and experts;
- the Cleaning & Support Services Association's Innovation Showcase;
- a new, dedicated demonstration area;
- the return of the Window Cleaning World Cup;
- and the Cleaning Show Awards.
The popular Cleaning Show conference will address the big cleaning & hygiene issues and opportunities that could have an impact on the future of businesses and public sector organisations.
Topics to be discussed include:
- the new normal for cleaning post-Covid-19
- the role of training and education
- technological developments including autonomous cleaning machines
- the green agenda for cleaning and hygiene
The CSSA's Innovation Showcase will celebrate the cleaning industry's most innovative products, services, and initiatives.
Another excellent feature, the window cleaning and carpet cleaning village, will provide a chance to try the latest products on offer, attend workshops and network with equipment providers.
The Cleaning Show is co-produced by Quartz Business Media (QBM) and the British Cleaning Council (BCC).

"We are therefore delighted to be able to confirm the new dates on the heels of the Government's 'road map' announcement.
"Between now and the show, please expect further announcements from us in about smaller networking events, industry celebrations and online webinars."
Paul Thrupp, Chair of the BCC, adds: "With the continuing disruption caused by the pandemic and some uncertainty about precisely when large business events will be able to open, moving the Cleaning Show to November is the best option.
"The Cleaning Show remains the UK's best and biggest event for anyone connected to the cleaning and hygiene industry.
"Please put the November date in your diary and make sure you don't miss it; the Cleaning Show will be the highlight of the year for our sector. It will also be a great opportunity for us to update the industry on the recently formed APPG for Cleaning and Hygiene.
"It has so much to offer visitors and exhibitors and coming after a very challenging period for the industry and UK as a whole, it is sure to be an amazing three days."
PM Boris Johnson's road map gives a June 21st date for large business events to reopen but it is only provisional and after certain conditions are met.
