Pulire Verona 2011 - continued
Many companies attracted attention to their stands and products by hiring staff to hand out eco-friendly bags containing brochures. Magris got the eco-friendly message across by using a team of young ladies dressed as if they'd been spirited in from the forest...
If you run out of space on the walls, use the floor...! Well that's what Berica Hygiene thought and it certainly attracted our attention! Although when we met, the company was just supplying to Italy, the team told us that immediately after the show they would start to export as Pulire had drawn lots of enquiries from Greece, Portugal, Ghana and Sweden, amongst others.

Silvia Gabernet told us that Spanish company Sallo had been started by her Grandfather in 1925, before being passed to her father. As well as Spain, the company does business in Italy and Portugal and is about to embark on an export drive. Proving particularly popular at the show were the company's Ecotablets - solid concentrates for hygiene and disinfection.

Hagleitner's Herbert Sampl proudly showed off the company's new range of dispensers, which, he told us, were attracting a lot of interest on the stand, together with the hand sanitising gel.
"Our XIBU senseTowel dispenser has a special mechanism which guarantees that there is no paper fluff left of the floor after use.The new X2 paper is softer and more absorbent and efficient and comes in 160 metre rolls, which offers a 14% increase in output.
"We have also introduced a blue paper quality for the food industry and production companies. The blue paper XIBU is called XB2 and has 145 metres on the roll. www.hagleitner.com
Nettuno used Pulire to launch three Eco-label products - a gel and a cream for heavy duty use and a light cleaner for general purpose use. They must have gone down very well as it took us several attempts to get onto the stand and take our picture of the lovely Elena Fratus.
