Covid-19: Donations also come from Nettuno!
Nettuno, renowned Italian manufacturer of products for handcare and hygiene, has momentarily suspended its 50th anniversary celebrations for a bigger cause: to actively support Italy in the fight against the Coronavirus.
The first initiative aims at supporting healthcare facilities and families in the most critical phases of patient care, making hospital places available more quickly for new patients. Moreover, says Nettuno, having been taking care of hands for 50 years, how could it not support all the doctors, health workers and volunteers who are taking care of the rest of us right now?
In this regard, it made a donation of professional detergents, moisturising and sanitising lotions for hands as well as soaps with antibacterial action, to many local associations and hospitals.
"Facing the many demands of products with a sanitising action in a very short time has not been easy," says Marina Fratus, managing director of Nettuno.
"But, despite the general difficulty we are experiencing - from the safety of workers to the reprogramming of production lines up to the critical issues emerging in the supply chain - we have decided to put all our energy into helping people and facilities meet the hygiene requirements imposed by this unprecedented health emergency.
"It is evident how, at a time like the current one, every action, big or 
small, can make a difference. Individual citizens, multinationals and small and medium-sized enterprises are taking part in the most beautiful competition in the history of the world: solidarity!
