Plea from handwash manufacturer to use refills
Good hand hygiene is vital for curbing the risk of infection and the transmission of viruses at any time, but because the demand for hand soap has increased substantially thanks to the Coronavirus pandemic, the need for product containers has also grown.
With lockdown and people having to self-isolate and work from home potentially slowing up the supply of containers, one manufacturer is asking customers to order refills rather than complete new bottles of product.
“We want to help everyone as much as possible, so we want to call on everyone to keep the empty Flo Hand Wash 500 ml dispensers with a pump and refill them, using a Flo Hand Wash 5 litre can,” says the company.
“By working with refills, we not only protect the environment but this also enables us to increase our production speed and manage our packaging supplies better which in turn helps us meet the huge demand for hand soap.”
