Famous name joins Templa

In a flying start to 2020, Templa says it is delighted to welcome Principle Cleaning, one of the UK's largest and best-known cleaning/facilities management contractors to the Templa family.

With annual turnover approaching £60m and close to 2500 staff, Principle provides cleaning, window cleaning and grounds maintenance services to some of London's most recognisable buildings.

Principle has initially licensed the Templa Core System of 10 modules including Pay, Billing, Workbills, Stores Control, Budgeting and Analytics.

David Hoskins, Principle financial director, outlines two key reasons for the switch:

"Our senior operations team, many of whom had worked with TemplaCMS before, wanted real-time visibility of wage variances right the way through the pay period, rather than waiting until the very end to sort out any overspends.

"We also needed much closer control over our one-off work, i.e. window cleaning, periodics and post-build cleans, which form a sizeable portion of our work here."

David also praises Templa's commitment to upgrading the software regularly and staying ahead of the cleaning industry's ever-changing requirements, saying:

"We carried out considerable due diligence on all the suppliers and considered that Templa was the most dynamic company of those we assessed."
