International partnership will bring new scrubber dryer technology to the UK

* Hooper-s-d.jpgA new international partnership in scrubber dryers has been formed, which will see some of the most revolutionary new cleaning equipment become available to the UK market.

Portsmouth based Hooper Services and Italian scrubber dryer manufacturer TSM have come together to form an exclusive partnership, which will see the introduction of the state-of-the-art Grande Brio cleaning system.

"We are really excited to be working with TSM to bring this new range to the UK market," says Hooper Services managing director, Ian Hooper. "For nearly 30 years we have been working with our customers to help them to meet their industrial cleaning needs. We do this by building our understanding so that we can find the right products and equipment to suit their requirements.

"TSM and Hooper services have a similar ethos, so forging this partnership means that we are able to utilise our experience of what the UK businesses want from cleaning equipment, with technological developments that TSM has created."

TSM is a family run business with five generations helping to create the products that they have on the market today. Based in the Italian city of Loiano, near Florence, the company boasts that the key to its success is being able to adapt to the changing needs of its customers. The team works tirelessly to ensure that the latest technology is employed to ensure that high performing machines are produced, which stand the test of time.

All TSM products are developed using a Smart five-principle approach of Simple, Mechanical, Affordable, Reliable and Tough. Through using these principles, TSM can be sure of developing cleaning machines that are intuitive to the needs of the users, whilst still being able to be robust enough to handle the everyday demands that a scrubber dryer needs to meet.

The latest range is the Grande Brio, which uses an innovative cleaning system to ensure that greater-than 96% of bacteria are killed. The range uses an ecologically friendly sanitising system called the Ecoray. After washing the floor in the usual way an ultraviolet light, which can be fitted to the machine, is then run over the floor to destroy any micro-organisms. This is a single-pass process. Where used without chemicals, the Ecoray system will enhance ecological credentials without adversely affecting operative man-hours or costs - there are only benefits to its use.

* Hooper-sd2.jpgEcoray has been developed to eliminate the symptoms of allergies, asthma and other diseases which are often caused by moulds and bacteria produced by the biological elements and chemicals.

However, sometimes you need to use chemicals for peace of mind and Grand Brio has been developed so that it can be used with or without cleaning products.

Ian Hooper, says: "Already the Grand Brio is being used in the UK by a range of customers from schools to hospitals, factories and warehouses. The Grande Brio has something for all needs whether it is a sit-on or an upright, a battery operated or a mains powered; there is a machine to meet every customer's needs.

"Many of our customers raise concerns that the scrubber dryer will be able to adapt to changing hard floor surfaces. TSM has listened and developed a whole range of pads and brushes that can be changed to tackle all terrains."
