Veltia UK granted Quiet Mark status for V Fusion and F4 Eco hand dryers
Veltia UK's V Fusion and F4 Eco hand drying machines now boast the Quiet Mark, which means that washrooms in which they are installed, will be far less noisy - and safer - environments.
Poppy Szkiler, founder and managing director, Quiet Mark, comments: "Veltia has been awarded a Quiet Mark for its V Fusion and F4 Eco models, which both deliver excellent hand drying functionality while operating at lower noise levels.
"In the case of the V Fusion, the user also has the choice of two speeds to reduce noise output further.
"At Quiet Mark we appreciate that some people find hand dryer noise uncomfortable, meaning they may not dry their hands thoroughly in public bathrooms. Veltia V Fusion and F4 Eco hand dryers have been recognised as being quieter without compromising on performance."
Matt Anderson, managing director of Veltia UK comments: "As a business we have strived to improve the sound quality of all our hand dryers whilst not compromise performance. We are pleased to have been awarded the Quiet Mark and it is our intention to aim to achieve the Quiet Mark award test standards for all future product development."
Quiet Mark is the international approval award programme associated with the UK Noise Abatement Society charitable foundation. The consumer champion encourages companies worldwide to prioritise noise reduction within the design of everyday machines and appliances, and products which solve noise problems.
Through expert acoustic testing and market assessment Quiet Mark identify the quietest products across over 65 product categories, making purchase decisions quicker and easier. The more successful the scheme becomes, the more designers and manufacturers focus on reducing sound levels of their next generation products to change the environment of living spaces and support our health.
