2019 ISSA Innovation Award program open for submissions
ISSA is calling for entries for the 10th Annual ISSA Innovation Award Program, which is organised into five categories - Cleaning Agents; Dispensers; Equipment; Services & Technology; and Supplies & Accessories - each vying for the Innovation Category Awards and, ultimately, the Innovation of the Year.
"Innovation is the driving force behind progress," says Kim Althoff, ISSA vice president of sales, trade shows & publications. "In the most tangible terms, ISSA is helping to fulfill its mission of 'advancing clean and driving innovation' with this program, through which we support and recognise the latest in products and services our members are bringing to market."
In the months leading up to the show, which takes place 18th - 21st November in Las Vegas, entries are voted on by cleaning-industry distributors, building service contractors, residential cleaning contractors, in-house service providers and wholesalers online. Voters may only cast one vote per product category.
Online voting will take place from 1st August through 15th November and will determine the five Category Winners.
Over the course of the ISSA Show, a panel of industry expert judges will evaluate the entries using an extensive set of criteria. Along with the online votes, the judges' ballots will determine the 2019 Innovation of the Year, as well as the Category Honorees.
All participating manufacturers will exhibit during the ISSA Show in Las Vegas. The products submitted will be on display in the ISSA Innovation Showcase, Booth 101, throughout the three exhibit days of the show.
Companies wishing to enter can choose from the Standard and Premium Entry packages. All entries will receive a promotional Innovation Success Kit, placement on ISSA Innovation Award voting webpage, and the product will be displayed in the ISSA Innovation Showcase, Booth 101.
ISSA provides extensive marketing and public relations support of all the product nominees vying for the Innovation Awards.
Premium entries will benefit from added visibility and promotional opportunities, including a professional in-booth interview, a 30-minute opportunity to demo the product or conduct a presentation in the Solution Center on the exhibit floor (Booth 401), one-time access to a mailing list of all Innovation Marketplace visitors, and other exclusive perks.
After an exhibitor enters its game-changing product, service, or technology, ISSA will provide the tools needed to complete the upload process to the ISSA Innovation voting page.
The deadline for entries is 15th July.
Category Award winners will be announced at the ISSA CMI Lunch and Learn on Monday, 18th November, at 11:45 at the Las Vegas Convention Center (which supplied our picture). The 2019 Innovation of the Year and Category Honorees will be announced at the Innovation Award ceremony in Booth 101 from 13:00 to 13:30 on Thursday, 21st November - the final day of the Show.
