Entries now open for the 2019 BICSc Annual Awards
The British Institute of Cleaning Science is once again holding its Annual Awards Ceremony, on Thursday 26th September 2019 at Whittlebury Hall Hotel & Spa in Northamptonshire.
The awards celebrate brilliance in training & accreditation throughout the cleaning industry and are now recognised as one of the most prestigious accolades throughout the sector. The passion and determination that goes into being a 'stand out' company or individual deserves recognition, and the 11 award categories are designed to recognise these achievements.
Last year's winner of the 'Outstanding Candidate of the Year' award, Fern Soo, ISS Facility Services (pictured here with Samantha West of Vinci Facilities), spoke about the impact winning an award had for them:
"Winning 'Outstanding Candidate of the Year' has opened up so many opportunities for me," she says. "Since winning the award, I have travelled to multiple sites across my organisation conducting BICSc training with other members of the team. It has encouraged participation amongst my colleagues, and they have shown more motivation to use best practice and industry standards across the board."
In addition to the usual, six applied-for awards, this year, there is a new applied for category, 'The John Edwards Award', which recognises an outstanding Corporate Member for its commitment and support in helping the Institute achieve its goal, 'Creating a Career in Cleaning'.
- The John Edwards Award (Outstanding Corporate Member)
- Excellence in Training and Assessment (United Kingdom)
- Excellence in Training & Assessment (International)
- Client Commitment to Training
- Assessor of the Year
- Outstanding Candidate of the Year
Entries are now open and close midnight, Tuesday 30th April and for the first time, can be completed online. To enter visit:
