Touching down: the Toucan Eco III
Centrego launched the Toucan Eco III device in a user friendly 'plug and play' pack. This is the third generation of the original award-winning Toucan Eco device which produces a combined cleaning and disinfecting solution from tap water and table salt using electro chemical activation (ECA).
The device eliminates the need for transport, packaging and disposal of plastic containers and the fluid does not contain scarce oil or plant-based chemicals, perfumes or dyes. For companies looking to promote their CSR and sustainability the use of this simple but effective technology is the ideal way to show cleaners and end users that their intentions are serious.
The Toucan Eco III produces a litre of activated fluid in five minutes and needs only a 13-amp socket to operate. A reusable spray bottle, starter pack of salt, instruction manual and handy graphic poster are included in the pack. Used with a microfibre cloth, this eliminates a wide range of expensive and single-use chemical sprays.
The product drew a lot of interest at the show - as the company's Oliver Weisflog had expected. "We're getting a lot of enquiries from contractors whose customers are demanding that they follow more sustainable cleaning practices," he said. "This system provides the ideal solution and the Show provides an opportunity to see it first hand and learn more about the benefits it can bring."
Centrego also supplies medium and larger systems for higher volumes of fluid which can be calibrated for strength according to the application required.
