2019 IWFM Awards are Go! - "Dazzle us with your brilliance," say judges

* 2019-IWFM-Awards.jpgEntries have opened for the 2019 IWFM Awards, the workplace and facilities management profession's most prestigious event and the first since the launch of the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management last November.

The Awards were first established in 2001. Now in their 18th consecutive year they are expected to continue to attract outstanding entries which demonstrate the difference this industry makes to business, the economy and society in the themes of People, Innovation and Impact.

A new category, Innovation in Supplier Relationships, aims to recognise truly collaborative business relationships and working practices as business models evolve.

Alterations to other categories reflect both the profession's own evolution and help to frame its value-over-cost ambition, as the work of today's progressive FMs defines and drives concepts such as social value, people empowerment and tech driven innovation through the sector.

"Every year I say that judging these Awards gets harder because of the sheer quality of entries," says chair of judges Steve Gladwin. "But that's the best thing about it. The more quality entries we get, and the harder our jobs become, we know that's a mark of progress - and that benefits everyone. So, dazzle us with your brilliance!

"The IWFM Awards recognise the quality and excellence which takes place in workplace and facilities management and I encourage individuals, teams, companies and collaborative partnerships to get involved. There really is no better showcase for all that is great about our industry.

IWFM chief executive Linda Hausmanis says:

"I'm thrilled to be launching the inaugural IWFM Awards which I know will build on the brilliance that has gone before. The value which comes from recognition by our industry peers is beyond measure - but you've got to be in it to win it, so if you're sitting on a great achievement, don't delay - dazzle."

Entries close at midnight on Monday 29 April. The ceremony will take place on Monday 14th October at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Marble Arch, London.
